Illinois Hit or Miss is a 12/24 lotto game similar to the Texas All or Nothing game. Hit or Miss started in September 2013. This game has a unique prize structure since it awards an equal jackpot for choosing the correct half of the numbers as winners OR for picking none of the right numbers.

To play Illinois Hit or Miss, choose 12 numbers from 1-24. The Good Life Number, 1 through 5, is randomly generated and automatically printed on your ticket for no additional cost. Tickets are $2 each. Drawings are held four times a day.

The odds of winning Hit or Miss with 12 winning numbers or 0 winning numbers are 1 in 2,704,156. The odds of winning and matching the Good Life Number are one in 13,520,780 Illinois Lucky Day Lotto has better odds than Hit or Miss, but Hit or Miss is certainly a better choice than Mega Millions or Powerball. There is a $250,000 jackpot prize for matching all 12 winning numbers or for matching zero numbers. WHEN TO PLAY A LONG SHOT NUMBER
